Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan commended American singer-actor Nick Jonas for his performance in the Broadway musical The Last Five Years and appreciated his Krrish co-actor Priyanka Chopra Jonas for a “wonderful evening of theatre, music, laughter, and dining” during their meeting in New York.
On Saturday, Hrithik posted a photo on his Instagram handle showing him with Nick and Priyanka. Also present were Hrithik’s partner, actor Saba Azad, and Nick’s co-star in the show, Adrienne Warren.
Hrithik expressed he was “blown away and moved” by the performance, which was Nick’s first on Broadway.
“We expected a casual night with friends and left completely awestruck and inspired like never before. The Last Five Years is a must-watch experience! @nickjonas you were outstanding. A truly stellar act. @adriennelwarren you were remarkable. Such a powerful production. Thanks, @priyankachopra, for a delightful night filled with theatre, music, fun, and great food,” he wrote.
He wrapped up his message by acknowledging the director of the play, Whitney White.
The Last Five Years follows the emotional journey of Jamie (Nick), a young novelist, and Cathy (Adrienne), an aspiring actress, as they navigate love and heartbreak over five years.
