Actor Veer Pahariya says that he embraces both the highs and lows that have followed the release of his debut film, Sky Force, including the viral reels featuring his signature dance move from one of the movie’s hit songs.
The film clipings of Pahariya dancing with one leg while grooving to Rang, the energetic party track from Sky Force, continue to trend on social media even several months after the film’s premier release.
Although he is an outsider in the film industry, the young actor acknowledges the challenge of “making an impact.” He says:
“I’m deeply grateful to the audience for showering love on the film, my performance, and my character. With any major breakthrough, there will be both praise and criticism, and I welcome it all.
He added, “As for the dance move, I couldn’t be more thankful to have an iconic step associated with me, especially so early in my journey,” in his interview to PTI at the Lakme Fashion Week X FDCI event.
The actor made his runway debut on Saturday, walking for the British brand Asos in an all-white suit paired with a floral-printed vest.
He expressed his happiness saying that “This was my first-ever fashion week and my first time on the runway. It was an absolute blast—far more exciting than I had imagined”. “I’m really enjoying this. I genuinely love Asos for the experience it offers and how accessible its fashion is. This outfit is amazing, and I’d love to wear it to a red carpet event or an award function,” he added.
When asked about venturing into web series, Pahariya expressed his interest in exploring all creative avenues. He further said “The validation and encouragement from the box office are incredible. But I never say never—I’d love to do web series, streaming films, maybe even theater or musical productions,”
With several exciting projects lined up for this year and the next, the actor is looking forward to what’s ahead.
