Actress Tamannaah Bhatia looks back on the ten years since “Baahubali’,”The Beginning” was released, noting that its profound influence as an “unforgettable” moment in Indian cinema was unexpected. The 35-year-old star, renowned for her performances in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi films like Happy Days, Kalloori, Devi, Aranmanai 4, and the upcoming Odela 2, believes she’s only just begun.
Directed by the legendary SS Rajamouli, the inaugural instalment of the blockbuster Baahubali series debuted on July 10, 2015, starring Prabhas. It was also the first Telugu film to have a worldwide release in Hindi. Bhatia, who played the valiant warrior Avantika in the epic saga, mentioned that the film was not just a pivotal moment in her career. None of us could have imagined or anticipated its incredible success. But its achievements—for us as performers, for the industry, and for the nation—are remarkable.”
