Salman Khan Says the True Hero of a Film Is Not Shah Rukh, Ajay, or Aamir—It’s the Film Itself

While promoting his upcoming film Sikandar, slated for release on March 30, superstar Salman Khan pointed out that even his contemporaries have experienced box office failures.

Elaborating on his perspective, Khan stated, “If your film opens to a decent number, loyal fans will still watch it. However, a film’s real success comes from repeat audiences. Only if the film is genuinely good and resonates with them will they return to watch it. Otherwise, it won’t perform well.”

According to him, the true hero of any film is the film itself.

He emphasized that what truly matters is how well the film is crafted and how deeply it connects with audiences who spend their hard-earned money at theatres. Their perception and emotional connection with the film determine its success. “There have been films in my career that I personally didn’t like, yet they performed exceptionally well,” Khan remarked.
